Vincent,

Something to try would be to download the entire site to your Mac using
something like Web Buddy (on the Mac -- goes 99 levels deep) or other
programs that do the same (IE will do this 5 levels deep). You don't
need to burn a CD.

Supposedly, you can then peruse the site, while offline, as if you were
accessing it from the Web. I assume all/some of the links become
relative, but that can be dealt with later. If you just want to test
ideas, this may be a way to get started.
