I just joined the list but I read about the UPS issue that you refer to.
We just got 4 new blue G3s in our office and 2 of them are being used in
our photo-retouching department with Barco 21" monitors. The built-in
calibration for these monitors utilizes a serial interface to
communicate with the Macintosh. I used 2 Keyspan USB adapters and the
monitors calibrate great. Maybe this would work for a UPS as well. They
