For only a couple of users, you and your sys admin (who we want to keep
happy since he's willing to help you out) may be happier with DAVE from
thursby systems.

DAVE is a Macintosh client for access NT services as a native user. So your
sys admin won't have to do anything special on the server, and the DAVE
client setup is fairly easy to understand (a great deal easier than
understanding how to setup Mac volume access on an NT server anyway IMHO).
