Hello. It seems I didn't give enough information on what I wanted (I
should know better...)

What we really need the Proxy server for is:

Firewall security
Caching

The rest of the proxy features I don't care too much about. I think a
software solution will win in the end since we have a whole bunch of NT
servers we can use and I have a little Linux machine somewhere.

Our setup is this:
Heavily shared T1 line to the outside world, 2 internal subnets: the main
one behind the firewall (where we all are) and the other one with only a
handfull of computers (Web site, FTP site, RAS server, Email server)
outside the firewall.
