One thing you can do is use a lot of asterisks * in your
windoze searches, especially in the extensions. And I agree, the
MacOS Find File - Even the old System 7.1 version - is a hell of a
lot better. But then it IS easier to search when the OS has File Type
and Creator information to play with... Dual fork files DO have a few
advantages, despite being an overall pain.
